Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrive Bucharest
  Arrive at Bucharest and check into your hotel. Evening: explore Old town Bucharest, tasting local specialties.

• Day 2: Bucharest to Brasov (200 km)
  Roll north from Bucharest via the largely unknown Cheia Pass into Brasov. Evening: savor mici (grilled sausages) and țuică (plum brandy) with the crew.

• Day 3: Brasov to Sibiu (270 km)
  Head southeast on DN68, carving through Hunedoara’s rolling twisties and the world famous Transfagarasan Pass to Sibiu’s medieval charm. Post-ride: dig into sarmale (cabbage rolls) and a cold Ursus beer in the old town enjoying the sense of accomplishment.

• Day 3: Sibiu to Targu Giu (230 km)
  Tackle the Transalpina—Europe’s wildest and Romania's highest road—climbing steep switchbacks and hairpins to the village of Targu Giu. Arrive and feast on tochitură (pork stew) and palincă (fruit spirit).

• Day 4: Targu Giu to Sighișoara (320 km)
  Ride north on the epic Transalpina again, or wind through alternate curves to Sighisoara. Post-ride: grilled trout and vin fiert (mulled wine) in the shadow of the clock tower.

• Day 5: Timișoara to Bucharest (300 km)
  Weav through Hungary’s plains and forested bends back to Bucharest. Celebrate amazing sights you've experienced with mămăligă (polenta) and maybe a rider’s țuică—prestige earned.
